I've Grown vinyl record
Champagne Jerry’s third album, and his first on vinyl, I’VE GROWN, features twelve bold new songs, including nods to old school New York rap, rock jams, and late-night drives, plus comedy clips from his raucous live shows. Lyrics reference everything from Eddie Levert to Dan Flavin, Freud to Hannah Montana. “Corgi” imagines CJ riding such dogs in outer space. “30K” features a tongue-in-cheek brag about his annual salary as an artist. Collaborators include Champagne Club member Max Tannone (Jaydiohead), Texas newcomer Jacob Ruegg, veteran producer Andre Kelman (The Julie Ruin, Beastie Boys), and comedian Bridget Everett, with whom he performs their reggaeton duet “Estoy Matando.”
